Awalnya, tahu hanya menjadi lauk biasa di meja makan, sedangkan Bakso dikenal sebagai makanan kuah yang menghangatkan. Sampai akhirnya seseorang mencoba menggabungkan keduanya\u2014mengisi Tahu dengan adonan Bakso, lalu mengukus dan menggorengnya. Dari situ terciptalah camilan yang unik: Tahu yang tampak biasa, tetapi di dalamnya tersembunyi rasa gurih yang kaya. Teksturnya lembut, kenyal, dan aromanya wangi.
